Right on the heels of the free candle, Topcashback is once again giving us great totally free stuff!!
If you are not a member, Topcashback is one of my favorite sites for several reasons. One, they have the guaranteed highest cashback percentage on your online purchases. But, they also give a way a lot of totally free items! When you purchase one of their featured offers, you get 100% cashback, plus a little extra. So you are making money to get FREE STUFF! I have gotten everything from laundry detergent to the Blu Ray/DVD of Frozen. It is free to join, and now they also have an app and will be releasing in store offers as well as online!!
Click one of my links which will take you to their site. Once you have a free account, log in, type Walmart into the search, click on the Walmart logo, and follow the directions listed for the free razor offer. You will simply click through their site to Walmart.com on the orange cashback link to the right of the offer details. See photo below:
Next, it will bring you the item’s page where it is $5.97 and click add to cart. Do not include multiples or other items. Next, proceed to checkout. Add in store pickup, or you will not receive cashback. Next, purchase the item by whichever payment method you choose. That is it. Topcashback will then credit your account with $6.60! The free deals can sell out fast. If sold out at the Walmart you choose, just try another.
It can take a few weeks for your cashback to clear, but I assure you it does come as long as you follow the offer direction.
Not only have we had quite a few coupons reset so we can print another 2 copies, (Swagbucks Coupons) we also have some fabulous new mobile coupons from TARGET!!! They are Free, but standard text rates do apply.
Target’s mobile coupons are easy to use. Using a separate text for each batch, text the following words to 827438:
You will receive a text with the coupons. At the top is a barcode which you show to your cashier at checkout. Like many other stores, Walgreens has again “adjusted” it’s coupon policies and made some significant changes that are going to impact the way we shop, and how much we save. You can read it here in it’s entirety.
Sadly, I think that a lot of stores may follow suit and make similar changes if they have not already. Shows like “Extreme Couponing” and the media surrounding it, has brought to light many questionable couponing practices, and caused the retail “powers that be” to sit up and take notice. There are also now laws put into place. People are also getting arrested and charged with Tax Evasion for selling their coupon stash. While mostly things are common sense, if you make a profit, you have to report and pay taxes on it if sold, some are a bit more interesting. For example, in Oklahoma, it is now illegal to retrieve coupons from a trash receptacle. A woman was arrested when she refused to get out of the dumpster when an officer ordered her to. All while trying to find coupon inserts. She actually cited the show as why, and it must have caused quite the stir to make it a law.
The coupon policy changes that Walgreens has implemented will mean that we have to get a lot more creative for maximum savings. You need to read the policy in full to become familiar with it, but I want to highlight a few that really stand out. Remember that each store can have a different interpretation and different practices for coupon use, even under the same policy. So always get to know and talk to your store associates and managers to learn how each particular store works. Our stores here differ quite a bit and also depends on who the working store associate and manager is.
Walgreen’s will no longer allow a coupon value to be higher than the price of the item. While some associates already did this, most would change the value of the item manually to use the coupon.
You can no longer use a coupon on a free item. If there is a Buy 1 Get 1 Free sale, you can only use coupons on one.
No free product coupons/vouchers can be used if printed. I get a lot of free product coupons online from Facebook and email, so this one definitely hits hard.
A coupon must be able to be scanned. The coupon can not be damaged or have the appearance of being tampered. They used to just enter manually if a coupon would not scan.
You will no longer be able to use a Friends and Family, Veteran’s Day, Senior store discount, or a store employee discount, with another percentage off total purchase discount.
You can no longer stack a Buy 1 Get 1 Free sale, with a Buy 1 Get 1 Free coupon.
Coupons may not be applied against any free item received in any offer.
Paper coupons must be scanned before digital coupons. This means when you have a coupon which gives a percentage off total purchase, all coupons must be scanned before which will result in a smaller subtotal and smaller savings.
ONLY digital coupons linked to your Walgreen’s Balance Reward account will be honored. No longer will we be able to use mobile coupons at Walgreens like from TOPCASHBACK.
These new policy changes will definitely affect the way we shop and save at Walgreens. It is sad because Walgreen’s has been a staple in my rotation, and I have been able to give and donate a lot of items that people are in need of. They are still allowing us to use coupons, and to combine a manufacturer’s and store coupon for each item, but the “free deals” we have been seeing will be drastically reduced in numbers.
Let’s get creative, and have fun SAVING! Happy Shopping!
I have written a lot about where to find, print, and collect coupons. However, tonight I found an unexpected treasure trove! I always tell people that no matter where you are, always be nice. Sadly, “couponers” have somewhat a bad reputation amongst store associates. Even in the most frustrating scenarios, attitude truly is everything!
Today at my Walgreens, one of the sweet girls that works there, asked me to come to the cosmetics counter. I have helped her get on Swagbucks and start her couponing journey. She showed me an accordion file FULL of manufacturer’s coupons that they can give out at their discretion! Since it is the end of the month, and any that they do not give out get thrown in the trash, she gave me a ton! And I absolutely will use them!
The next time you are in Walgreen’s, ask the sales associate at the cosmetics counter if they have any manufacturer’s coupons, and you could end up with some amazing additions to your coupon collection!
You have until Midnight Saturday before the next sale rotation starts. Some stores like Walgreens, actually have a period where both weeks sales are valid. However, I am noticing that they are trying to stop at some stores, so it may soon be a good “thing” of the past. At my favorite store it kicks in about 4pm on Sat and lasts through midnight.

Most likely no matter where you live, you have a Walgreens. While most carry the same products, some stores do vary, and clearance can vary as well. However, typically things are marked down in rotation, and even if they are not marked, will ring up at the register at the discounted price. Check end caps, the ends of the aisle, and ask your sales associate where the clearance section is. They tend to change them, and you don’t want to miss the great savings they bring!
