My super awesome CVS trip ended up being even better, thanks to another Jingit Diaper rebate! Remember that with Jingit, when a minimum value is specified, it is based on the actual RETAIL PRICE of the item, not what you actually pay after sales, coupons, etc.
I had a FANTASTIC trip to CVS yesterday! I ended up with 20 products with a retail price of $128.56, and only paid $5.06!! I also ended up with $46.76 of Huggies Pull-Ups diapers and Huggies Baby Wipes, for only $1.16!! That means I got THREE FREE jumbo packs of Huggies Pull-Ups training pants, and an 85% OFF DISCOUNT on a three pack of Huggies Natural Baby Wipes!! Last time we had this promotion on Huggies Pull-Ups at CVS, I ended up getting four jumbo packs of Pull-Ups totally free, plus I made about $0.40 as well. This time wasn’t quite as awesome, but close, and still an absolutely amazing deal. Especially for diapers or training pants! Though this particular promotion ended yesterday, the same one comes along every few weeks, so just wanted to show how we can stack the different coupons which are available.
Before anything else, make sure you check your receipt before leaving CVS. They have made significant new changes to their system, and lately I have had only one receipt that was not missing at least one coupon that was scanned. I watch closely as the sales associate scans my coupons, and also count how many I am using so I can tell quickly if one or more is missing. With these new system changes, for some reason when the transaction totals out, even coupons that show up on the screen can disappear. The sales associates are aware of it, and thankfully most will correct it. Today I had to go to two CVS stores since one does not carry a product I was looking for, and out of 5 separate transactions, 4 were missing at least two coupons that had absolutely been scanned. You can always get a Rain Check when items are out of stock, but it has to be on a product they carry.
Check your Extra Care Card regularly, and make sure you send all available coupons to your card. Coupon policies can vary store to store, even in the same region. However, for the most part they are the same. I recommend keeping a printed copy of the CVS coupon policy with you. The coupon policy as stated on the CVS site applies to every store, and if you have any issues that are spelled out in the policy, you can show the sales associate if something is in question. I have only had to do this a few times. Today I only had two of the $2 off $10 Huggies Purchase CVS coupons left, or they would have actually let me use three since I was purchasing over $30 worth of Huggies. They are no longer available to print, but do not expire until August. Only one of these coupons would scan through, so it is up to management whether or not they will take more, as the coupon wording does not limit it to only one, just one per $10 in Huggies products. If in doubt, it never hurts to ask a manager. I recommend checking the CVS coupon page regularly and printing every single CVS coupon that pops up. They always are valid for a long time, but do not stay available to print long. I am still using the candy coupons I printed months ago. Just remember not to print any of the other manufacturer’s coupons, as they will be deducted from your Swagbucks prints, and you will not receive payment for them like you will from printing directly off Swagbucks.
Here is what I purchased and what I used:
NOTE***If they had had not been sold out of the other Huggies Wipe package that was on sale for $5.99 as well, I would have been able to purchase it using the $1 off Swagbucks Huggies Wipes coupon, which would have deducted an additional $0.50, plus the $0.10 for redeeming it, making the transaction total only $0.50!
