If you have read any of my posts, you know that I LOVE beauty products. Since learning how to save so much money on my purchases, and since I get so many products for free, even after all I give away, I admittedly have a lot. Friends and Family actually come “shopping” at my house, and I love being able to do this! Once in a while though, I come across something that I absolutely get excited about, and this is one of those products.
I have been making jewelry for over 20 years now, and my hands have seen a lot of “wear and tear.” Between my tools, torch, and working with metal, my hands are the one part of my body that I feel like actually shows my age. And even though I pretty much avoid the Sun, our hands get a lot of exposure to Sun light and the elements, even just in our normal day. Even driving, our hands are on the wheel and are exposed to more rays through the windshield. Something I never really thought about until my Dr. explained why our hands tend to age faster than other parts of the body.
GlossyBox for June
In the last year, I have really been trying a lot of different hand products. So when I received the 1.35oz sample of the Camille Beckman Platinume Gold, Imperial Hand Therapy in my GlossyBox monthly shipment, I wasn’t even that quick to try it. On my way out the door one day, I realized I had forgotten to put my usual hand cream on, and grabbed it.
From the second I put it on, my hands looked and felt totally different. They immediately looked 10 years younger! My normally larger pores completely disappeared from view! It isn’t sticky, and it immediately disappeared into my skin leaving them so soft. I figured like a lot of other products, it would wear off rather quickly. I wash my hands a lot throughout my day, and the results held up and continued. I even noticed after my nightly bath, that my hands still looked better and were soft! A lot of the products I have tried have had to be reapplied periodically throughout the day to keep the results. With this, I now apply it twice a day. Once in the morning, and once before I go to sleep.
The ingredients of any product are extremely important to me. I have to know that it wasn’t tested on animals, and that it contains no animal by-products. Next, I want to make sure it isn’t a chemical laden cocktail, and the ingredients aren’t actually toxic like in some beauty products. This is from the Camille Beckman website, “Richly formulated with glycerin, sweet almond oil, grape seed oil and our signature herbal complex. Paraben free, Phenoxyethanol free, Dye free, and Gluten free. No animal by-products or animal testing. Made in America.”
The Platinume Gold scent is Lemongrass and Sparkling Grapefruit, heavier on the Lemongrass. I love the smell of Lemongrass and grapefruit both. If it is not your preference, the line has a lot of other Hand Therapy types to choose from, as well as a lot of other different products that I am excited to try as well.
Of course it wouldn’t be me if I didn’t find a way to get the best deal possible. On the Camille Beckman Website, the 1.35oz product, which is what I currently have, is $10 with $5.99 shipping. This is actually a great size that really lasts much longer than you would think. Both the GlossyBox and the Camille Beckman website have the larger 6oz product for $20. Obviously you are getting a better deal when you buy the larger size. The other types of Hand Therapy on her site in the 6oz size are $13.95 and all products are shipped for $5.95.
Right now on Amazon, there are several really great deals on Camille Beckman Hand Therapy.
The French Vanilla 6oz is only $12.56 with FREE SHIPPING!
The 8oz Morelia Monarch Hand Therapy is only $14.34 and FREE SHIPPING!
The 8oz Mango Beach Hand Therapy is $17.89 with FREE SHIPPING when you purchase over $35
The Tuscan Honey (now another favorite) in the 1.35oz is $8.16 with FREE SHIPPING!
I am excited to try even more products in her line and can’t wait until my next order arrives. If you want to know more about how I get all of the free beauty products, you can read more on my “Beauty on a Budget, and Makeup for FREE” page.
